Refund & Return Policy

If your bed arrives damaged or incorrect, we take care of everything — return shipping and repair or replacement — at no cost to you. The rules below explain the rest in plain language. Each American Iron Beds bed is custom-built to order, so we do not accept change-of-mind returns and we do not offer exchanges; confirmed damage or error is remedied by repair or replacement.
Damage or incorrect items — 14 days from delivery
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to report any damage or an incorrect item, documented with clear photos. Please also inspect your delivery and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery — this protects your claim with the carrier.
Once confirmed, American Iron Beds covers everything — return shipping (if needed) and repair or replacement — at no cost to you. This protection applies to all collections, including custom and Dream Gallery orders.

Cancellations — standard collections (Corsican & Wesley Allen)
- Within 72 hours of placing your order: you may cancel for any reason and receive a full refund.
- After 72 hours: your order has entered production, so a 50% cancellation fee applies if you still wish to cancel. This is because the bed is custom-built to order and materials and labor are already committed.
- Once your order ships: it can no longer be canceled.
Dream Gallery & customized orders
Custom orders include Dream Gallery beds, custom finishes, adjusted heights, and any bespoke project built to your specifications.
- Within 72 hours of placing your order: full-refund cancellation, same as above.
- After 72 hours: custom and Dream Gallery orders are fully non-refundable once they enter production, because they are highly custom and cannot be repurposed. The 50% option does not apply to these orders.
The 14-day damage and incorrect-item protection above still applies in full to custom and Dream Gallery orders.
Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges. Confirmed damage or incorrect-item cases are resolved by repair or replacement at no cost to you.
Refund timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after a cancellation is processed.
