Returns & Refunds
Customer agrees to be fully responsible for the obligations of sales tax in the state listed in shipping address.
Return window
No returns or refunds will be accepted without prior approval from American Iron Beds (AIB). All return requests must be submitted in writing to Info@AmericanIronBeds.com.
Made-to-order policy
All of our beds are made to order. As a result, all orders are non-refundable except in the case of clear and photo-documented defect or damage on delivery. Hand-applied finish variations are not considered a manufacturer's defect. Design and height variations due to size differences are not considered a manufacturer's defect.
Prior to placing an order, customer is responsible for determining that elevators, stairways, ceiling clearance, hallways, and doorways can accommodate the item(s) purchased.
Restocking fees
Return requests for any reason other than manufacturing defects or shipping damage are accepted at the discretion of AIB and will be subject to shipping charges and a 50% restocking fee.
Cancellation
After 72 hours of placing an order, cancellation requests may be accepted at the discretion of AIB and are subject to a 40% restocking fee. Once your order ships, cancellation requests are non-refundable.
Damaged shipments
Orders damaged during shipping that are properly documented will be replaced at no charge. AIB is not responsible for damaged items signed for without noting damage at time of delivery. Orders that arrive with visible damage to the item, inside the packaging, should be rejected. See our Shipping Policy for damage reporting details and the 48-hour reporting window.
Refund timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of receiving and inspecting returned merchandise (when applicable) or upon approval of a damage claim.
