Iron Canopy Beds
An iron canopy bed connects four tall posts with an overhead iron frame, which draws the eye up and gives the bed real presence in the room. All six of our canopy designs are part of the Dream Gallery, our most ornate collection, handcrafted to order in Los Angeles by our partner workshops in 6 to 8 weeks.

Our iron canopy beds
The Morella Canopy has flowing curves and botanical detail along the canopy frame. The Chartres Canopy balances straight lines and gentle curves for a more architectural look. The Olwyn's Amulet Canopy has Gothic-inspired tracery and finials, and the Isabelle Canopy has botanical metalwork across the headboard. The Amiens Abbey Canopy has multiple arched panels, and the Amiens Abbey Canopy Open Toe leaves the foot end open.
Canopy beds are sold as complete beds, in twin through California king (sizes vary by design; see each product page).
How they are made
Each canopy bed is made from thick-walled steel tubing and solid iron rod, with every headboard and footboard welded as one piece. Molten metal is hand-poured around the weld joints, which reinforces them and forms the decorative castings. Because canopy beds are in the Dream Gallery, you can order custom headboard, footboard or rail heights, up to 13 inches taller, for an added fee, and the side rails can be painted to match your finish.
Delivery and assembly
Shipping takes 1 to 2 weeks after production, and delivery to your first threshold is free in the contiguous US. The bed arrives in pieces and bolts together with simple tools. For a bed this size, many customers choose White Glove Delivery (added fee), where the crew carries the bed to your room and assembles it. The path and room need to be clear when the bed arrives.
